You want relief, not years on a couch. Whether it's anxiety, a low mood that has settled in, or a craving you keep losing to, you're motivated to change and want help doing it. I'm a licensed Clinical Psychologist in Massachusetts with more than 39 years of experience helping adolescents, adults, seniors, and couples get free of anxiety, stress, depression, cravings, and old trauma. I came to psychology from ministry, wanting to get into the nitty-gritty of how change actually happens. I'm solution-oriented, honest, and truly non-judgmental. If spiritual questions matter to you, they're welcome here, but I'll follow your lead on whether they come up.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, educator, and artist. I am skilled and experienced in supporting people working on issues of self-esteem/worth, traditional and non-traditional relationship issues, sexual wellness, body-positivity, grief, depression, anxiety, trauma, recovery, life transitions, family issues, and more.
The work we do will be directed by the Person-Centered, Rogerian principles of unconditional positive regard, empathy, and belief in authentic human connection.
I’m Magenecka, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a Master of Science in Nursing and several years of nursing experience. I care for adults ages 18 and older throughout Massachusetts via telehealth, supporting concerns including anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, and trauma-related symptoms. Whether you’re seeking support for the first time or looking for the right fit, you deserve to feel heard and welcomed without judgment. I believe your care should reflect who you are, not just your diagnosis.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and Board Certified Music Therapist (MTBC). I received my master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and Expressive Therapies from Lesley University.
The better you know yourself, the better your quality of life becomes.
I’m a warm, grounded, bilingual therapist (English/Spanish) who helps adults slow down, understand their inner world, and reconnect with clarity during times of change. My work centers on compassion rather than judgment, and I believe therapy should feel both human and hopeful.
I support clients through major life transitions, stress, relationship shifts, cultural identity concerns, grief, trauma, and self-esteem challenges. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply curious about your next chapter, I offer a space to reflect, realign, and regain a sense of possibility.
Do you struggle with anxiety, persistent stress, low mood, difficulty focusing, or feeling overwhelmed by everyday life? If your symptoms are affecting your relationships, work, sleep, or overall well-being, psychiatric medication management may help you feel more balanced, focused, and in control. My approach to prescribing is thoughtful, evidence-based, and individualized. I take the time to understand your concerns, review your treatment history, discuss medication options, and monitor your response over time. Ongoing appointments focus on evaluating symptom improvement, assessing side effects, and making medication adjustments when clinically appropriate. My goal is to help you find an effective treatment plan that supports your functioning and quality of life. In addition to my work with adults, I specialize in treating ADHD, Autism, and Anxiety in children and teens.
I hold a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and have specific specialties in ADHD and grief work. I also hold a Level 1 CrossFit certification, which informs my holistic approach to mental health. I am especially interested in the connection between physical and emotional well-being and how movement, routine, and mindset can support lasting change.
When I’m not in session, you can usually find me trying out new recipes or restaurants, at the CrossFit gym lifting heavy things on purpose, or keeping up with the chaos and companionship of my two very active dogs.
With over 15 years of nursing experience, my passion for psychiatry began early in my nursing career as I witnessed patients transform their lives through healing, self-discovery, and resilience. It is profoundly humbling meeting someone at their lowest point and having the privilege of walking alongside them as they do the work to become their best selves.
I work with adults ages 18 to 60 from all walks of life, with a special focus on individuals who are often overlooked, misunderstood, or silently struggling. Many of the people I work with appear “put together” on the outside—successful, dependable, and strong—while internally feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, or barely holding it together.
I was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts, to immigrant parents from Haiti, and my cultural background plays an important role in who I am as a provider. Being deeply connected to both Haitian and American cultures has given me a broad perspective and a deep appreciation for cultural identity, family systems, and the shared human experience. At the core, struggle looks very similar across cultures—and everyone deserves care that is respectful, culturally responsive, and compassionate.
Therapy is a safe space of understanding that facilitates hope, and person centered solutions that are practical and ethically reliable. Using clinical integration and holistic interventions, we will begin to reclaim hope towards a meaningful life that is empowering and fulfilling.
My path into this work started with film. What drew me was people in their real moments, the hard ones, the ones that matter. In 2004 I volunteered on a suicide hotline, and I didn't want to capture those moments anymore. I wanted to help people find their way through them. That's still what I'm here for.
I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over two decades of experience across private practice, outpatient care, community mental health, and interdisciplinary teams. I've also held supervisory and leadership roles, mostly with clinicians early in their careers.
I work with adults of all backgrounds, including LGBTQ+ clients, managing anxiety, anger, overthinking, and life transitions. My approach draws on ACT, CBT, and mindfulness based practices, shaped by Taoist philosophy, Zen Buddhism, and existential psychology. I pay close attention, I don't push, and I say what I notice.
Sessions are available via telehealth, Tuesday through Saturday, across Massachusetts.
